Bent Comix started as a collective of gay (mostly erotic), publishers meeting regularly to compare best practices, give mutual support and hang out, morphed into a West Coast convention for LGBTQ cartoonists and fans of all stripes. This sampler is from early in that evolution: 3 pages each of any cartoonist who wanted to submit. Mostly homoerotic in nature, I based the image off of WPA artwork from the 30’s. The logo and cover design is by Dave Davenport, who served as editor.
