Herein I present pages 78 through 90 to Act Two of the storyboard to the Batman Animated series episode #44, entitled “Heart of Steel Part Two”. This episode was directed by Kevin Altieri. I am posting the storyboard in serialized fashion. I, then Michael Goguen, boarded this section.
I boarded pages 78 through 82. This mini-sequence exists, as much as anything, to re-establish Woobie, the stuffed bear toy that will fire (in the sense that a gun shown in Act One must fire by Act Three) in the episode climax.
Mike picks up and carries the ball to the end of Act Two. As always his drawing is charming and entertaining, telling the story with simple directness.
