I was influenced by Alex Toth in these pages, but also by Neal Adams, especially his artwork in Detective Comics 400 where he depicts black clad thieves assailing Batman en masse. I was really struck by that comics when i first saw it as a 13 year old. I’m posting a couple of these panels so you can see what I mean.
