This is a portrait of my husband, Richard Rangel, done when he and I were visiting my family (his in-laws) for the Xmas holiday in 2013. I was trying to imitating Modigliani though I didn’t have any of his artwork in front of me while drawing. Basically I was thinking in terms of arcing lines and shapes as Mr. M. might contrive.
