Actually this title is a lie. Even though Janet lives in Anchorage Alaska, where my husband, Richard Rangel, and I were visiting for the Xmas holiday in 2013, and I COULD have drawn Janet at the time (I think I may have even seen her at one of the family gatherings), I didn’t draw this until January of 2014, when Janet visited my older sister, Wendy Rader, and I where we live in Los Angeles, California, USA. As I recall, Janet, Shirley Ouchi, and I spent the day driving to Joshua Tree National Forest, lunching and dinnering in Twin Palms.
