THE
MARK IN AMERICA, ISSUE #2, PAGE 1
I
was influenced greatly by Will Eisner, especially how he laid out the lettering
on his splash pages. It was surprisingly difficult to get the lettering to
spread across the wall correctly, especially in those analogue days of yore
(1993).
Starting
with this issue, the writer, Mike Barr, and I worked “Marvel Style” in that he
gave me a fairly fleshed out plot outline as opposed to a finished script,
writing the dialogue and captions to my penciled pages.
This is page 1 for "The Mark" issue 2,
volume 2, otherwise known as "The Mark In America", published by Dark
Horse Comics in January 1994. Written by Mike Barr, Drawn by Brad Rader
