Mark #1, volume 1 was published by Dark Horse Comics in September, 1987 and was written by Randy Stradley, pencilled by Larry Stroman (who later went on to relative fame and success as one of the original members of Image Comics, co-creator of “The Tribe”.), inked by Randy Emberlin. The series original ran for 6 issues and was re-launched in 1994 in 2 installments of the Dark Horse Comics anthology before continuing in “The Mark in America” mini-series. Bob Schreck , the series’ new editor, contacted me in late 1992 because he like my work on issues 4-6 of the “Batman Adventures” series for DC Comics.
