MY COLLECTION #36 PART 5

Part of the problem (my trying to appropriate Tony Salmons' inking style when I was inking the "Fogtown" graphic novel I was illustrating for Vertigo Noir) was the relative size of Tony Salmons' originals (on the Lovecraft series) compared to mine (on the Fogtown graphic novel) : the double page spread of issue The Strange Adventures of HP Lovecraft #3, pages 32/33 takes up most of a 28” x21” sheet of Bristol paper; the Vertigo Noir format I was given to work with was two 9” x 6” pages on a single 11” x 17” sheet of DC paper. This problem was ameliorated slightly when DC allowed me to work normal size, i.e. one 10”x 15” (approximately) image on the 11” x 17” sheet.

This is pages #32/33 from issue #3 of "The Strange Adventures of H. P. Lovecraft.
