MY COLLECTION #32

Now this is sublime! I won this original Russ Heath pen & ink wash drawing at a C.A.P.S. auction in the late 00's. I feel guilty about it (sort of): I won this gorgeous 11"x17" for $200. At the next year's auction, I recall Mr. Heath communicating (he wasn't there in person) he'd need a bottom bid of (my memory sucks) $500; otherwise he could just sell his art himself and give the money to C.A.P.S. This is one of the joys of collecting: being in the right place at the right time.
