MY COLLECTION #30

These pages are from DC Vertigo's "The Dreaming" #45, pub'd by DC Vertigo in Feb. 2000. I purchased them from Mr. Holjgaard at Comic Con International in the early '00's at his artist's alley table.

I think they're really great pages, beautifully drawn and inked (by Ron Randall, who hasn't otherwise impressed me. Sorry Ron.) I vaguely recall Mr. Hojgaard as being Dutch, or maybe I bought the pages from Ron Randall. My memory is shit (pardon my American). I think they compare favorably (or at least equitably) to Arthur Packham or Hal Foster in terms of drawing chops if not in innovation and historic significance. And I got them cheap, probably $350 for all 3.
