These were the pages I did back in early '01 when I was trying to break back into comics. I took it upon myself to re-draw Avengers 92, the last issue before Neal Adams took over for his historic run. I roughed out the entire issue on xerox paper, then enlarged the roughs to act as guides for the finished pages. I was only able to complete the first 8 pages. I'm including pages 1 through 6 in this blog.
I'm also including the reverse side of page 5; I frequently draw on the back of my comic pages as a way of checking for mistakes.
I sent the pages as samples to Marvel, DC, Image and Dark Horse. Nothing came of it, except Brian Michael Bendis sent me a complimentary letter.
